Competition Regulations

The Competition is open to cellists born in or after 1981.

All applications must be sent not later than October 15th, 2015 either:

With the application form please enclose:

  1. copy of the applicant's official birth certificate or passport
  2. short curriculum vitae with the description of the professional career
  3. photograph (13x18 cm) suitable for inclusion in the competition catalogue
  4. audio-visual recording showing the applicant's performance of the required works in the First Round. The recording may be submitted on a DVD format or a video clip (link to uploaded video files). The duration of the recording should not exceed 30 minutes.
  5. copy of the payment receipt of the Application Fee in the sum of 100 EUR or the equivalent value in any hard currency, paid to the following bank account or by postal order (Western Union):

In case of withdrawal, the subscription money will not be reimbursed.

All applicants will receive a confirmation upon receiving their application.

Submitted materials and documents shall not be returned to applicants.

Zagreb Concert Management has the right to record or broadcast the Competition on Radio or TV in part or in its entirety, to release CDs or video recordings thereof. Competitors shall not be entitled to any royalties therefrom. In case of any disputes regarding the interpretation of the Competition Rules and Regulations, the only prevailing text of the Rules and Regulations shall be the one written in the Croatian language. For court settlements of any disputes the court in Zagreb shall be competent.
